This Privacy Policy describes how Pioneer Knitwears (BD) Ltd. (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Pioneer Knitwears Employee App (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

• Account & Profile: Employee ID, name, corporate email/phone provided by your employer.
• Device Information: Device model, OS version, app version, device identifiers (e.g., Instance ID/FCM token) used for secure login and push notifications.
• Location (Optional/With Consent): Approximate and/or precise location for features such as Outdoor Duty (OD) log, attendance geo-verification, or route-related workflows.
• Usage Data: In-app actions, timestamps, crash logs, and diagnostics for reliability, abuse prevention, and support.

How We Use Information

• Authenticate users and provide HR/attendance/OD functionalities.
• Send important updates and notifications via FCM.
• Improve security, performance, and user experience.
• Comply with legal obligations and company policies.

Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell personal data. We may share data with:

• Service Providers (e.g., Google Firebase/FCM, Google Maps/Geocoding) to deliver core features.
• Group IT/HR Systems (e.g., internal ERP/APEX/ORDS) strictly for company purposes.
• Regulators/Law enforcement when required by applicable law.

Permissions

The App may request access to Location, Network, Storage/Photos (for attachments), and Camera (for QR/ID scans). You can manage these permissions from your device settings. Some features may not work without the related permission.

Data Retention

We retain data for as long as your employment and/or a valid business purpose continues, or as required by law and audit policy. When no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymized.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (TLS in transit, access controls, audit logging). However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Children’s Privacy

The App is intended for employees and authorized stakeholders; it is not directed to children under 13.

International Transfers

Data may be processed on servers located in Bangladesh and/or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate, subject to contractual safeguards.

Your Choices

• Opt-in/out of optional permissions (e.g., location).
• Request access, correction, or deletion via the contact below, subject to HR policy and law.
